The Lexington City Council candidates were recently asked to respond to an animal welfare survey. I am posting my responses here in their entirety….

Background

I’m a Virginia native, and Lexington has been my permanent home since 2006.

I graduated as an English major from Virginia Tech, received my law degree from UVA, and spent much of my career in legal publishing and technology consulting.

I currently work as paralegal for the Commonwealth Attorney’s office.

In 2017, I ran for Rockbridge/Lexington Circuit Court Clerk. While I lost that race, I am proud to say that I carried the city and was humbled by all the support Lexington voters gave me in that election.
