I'm a heroin addict on the road to recovery. I've been clean for six hours now. I am concerned, though, about possible withdrawal symptoms. Can you suggest any over-the-counter medications which might minimize the effects of going cold turkey?
Alternatively, do you have Boy George's phone number? He owes me some money.

Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery. I am no stranger to addiction. With me it was the nasal sprays. Afrin, Vicks, etc. My entire inheritance went up my nose. Luckily I got help.

As for over-the-counter medications-- as you're from Manchester, its unlikely you have an inheritance to worry about so I'll go out on a limb and suggest the nasal sprays. While habit-forming, they can really clear your head and, if mainlined, provide quite a rush.

Sorry, I don't know where Boy George is, but as for his owing you a debt, stand in line bub! I want my fucking money back for that last Culture Club CD. What crap.
